TO START THE CLOCK
Open the battery compartment cover at the base of the clock and remove the isolator tab from the battery compartment. Replace the cover.
TIME/ALARM SETTING
To set time – Hold down TIME SET button.
To set the Alarm – Hold down ALARM SET button. Press Min or Hour to set desired time.
TO TURN ON/OFF ALARM
Press the alarm ON/OFF button to turn ON/OFF alarm, the bell & Zz icons will display when alarm is turned ON.
TO VIEW ALARM TIME
Press and hold down the ALARM SET button.
SMARTLITE R FEATURE
Your clock is fitted with two brightness levels of all night back lighting – SmartliteR “LO” & SmartliteR brite “HI”. Switch “LIGHT” button to switch between the display modes, adjusting the brightness for personal comfort. Switch the “LIGHT” to off position when backlight is not using to save the batteries life.
SNOOZE/LIGHT
To activate the display light, press SNOOZE/LIGHT button.
To activate snooze during the alarm, press SNOOZE/LIGHT button after which alarm will sound again approximately 4 – 8 minutes later.
DUAL POWER SUPPLY
This clock is designed to operate using 2XAA 1.5V batteries & solar power operated.
CHANGING BATTERIES
It is recommended that you replace the batteries annually even if the product is still running.Only use 2 X AA (1.5V) Alkaline batteries in this clock. Remove the batteries if the clock is stored or not in use. Remove exausted batteries from the product.
Warning: Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

MAINTENANCE
A soft cloth may be used to clean your clock. Do not use any corrosive cleaner or chemical solutions on the clock. Keep the clock clean and dry to avoid any problems.
YOUR GUARANTEE
Your clock is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase against any faults arising from defective materials or manufacture. Damage caused through careless handling, misuse or in transit is expressly excluded. Should this clock fail within 12 months please return it in the first instance to your retailer.
